IVF cost is not one number. It’s a sequence.
Most people start IVF thinking in a single price.
The cycle.
Then the process starts.
Medication begins. Monitoring increases. Decisions come quickly. Testing is introduced. Sometimes there are embryos. Sometimes there aren’t.
And the cost moves with each step.
You do not pay once.
You move through stages.
Each stage has its own timing, its own decisions, and its own cost.
None of this is hidden.
But most people don’t see the full structure before they start.
That’s where confusion comes from. Not from bad intent. From how the information is presented.
What is included in the base cycle?
What is paid separately?
When are payments due?
What decisions increase cost later?
How often are multiple cycles needed in cases like mine?
These are normal questions.
When you ask them early, the process feels clearer. Conversations with your clinic become easier. Decisions feel more grounded.
